The work that I have submitted is some of my best. The first few are nudes, that are very textured. Some of the textures are from scanned rocks, leaves , weeds and flowers all integerated to produce one work of art. The others are various paintings created mainly in Corel Painter and Adobe Photoshop. A few have textures, like Gateway to Alantis, Avebury and Jubilation to add depth. These three also have several pictures as a collage to make one. Others are simply paintings of the original photograph that I had taken
I reside in southern California, in the Santa Ynez Valley a 45 minute drive from the resort town of Santa Barbara.
All my computer art knowledge is self taught and learned with in the last two years.My art blossomed with my interest in photography and travel. My most important brush is my eye, for it caputres the sense of a place, time and emotion. All of the photographs are original and taken by myself from travels around the world and from my own local environment. Then the magic and fun begin. All of the creative magic is produced on my computer. The paintings are hand painted, not a one time filter. other works are collages and various textures and special effectrs to make one work of art. This new digital media that is my canvas is my expressive way of sharing the beauty of our world, cultures and people.
