My Artwork is an amalgamation of very eclectic influences - the paintings of
Peter Breughel and Charles Burns, the films of Hal Hartley and Guy Maddin,
the music of Robyn Hitchcock and The Residents, and the poetry of John
Betjeman.
I am fascinated by the juxtaposition of different Historical Ages and
Cultures, producing ideas that are decorative, surreal and theatrical.
A lot of my recent work focusses on characters that are noble, troubled and
eccentric - illustrations for unwritten stories.
