I began to make pictures on computer in 1996. At present day my soft - Corel Photopaint and Fractal Design Painter. When I began to draw with the computer, the concept of the style has disappeared for me (but I have my style in the usual graphic). It seems me, that it is not so bad. I have series of works,which have made on the computer fulfilled in one style , but styles of series are different. Many traditional artists in Russia are sharply against digital art. They consider that it is not art. I consider, that they can not learn to work on the computer. But soon it will pass, I think. While there is not enough information in Russia about computer art, it too prevents understanding of progressiveness of a new method. I think, that computer is the instrument of artist of future.
Afanassy Pud (Fainzilber Eugeny) was born in Leningrad in 1951, and lives there now. He has completed Leningrad Polytechnic Institute. Has a scientific degree of doctor of sciense. Since 1983 is the co-partner of Partnership of Experimental Fine Art in Leningrad, participate in all exhibitions of Partnership.Pictures of Afanassy Pud frequently were deleted from exhibitions by representatives of authorities and KGB.
In 2001 - curator of exhibition of computergraphic "POD Gallery (NY USA) and group DIGITAL (Russia)"
